Rebecca Smith began piano lessons in Brisbane with the Suzuki Method when she was 3 years old. Shortly after, her family moved to the small town of Nanango and then to the slightly larger town of Kingaroy where she resumed her piano lessons. When she was 15 she was enjoying music so much that she knew her career had to include the piano in some way! Rebecca began her love of teaching children piano when she was 13 years old and continued with a growing number of students through her music studies at USQ (BMus Piano Pedagogy) then completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Instrumental Teaching in 2004. After completing her Postgraduate Diploma Rebecca enjoyed setting up and teaching Instrumental Music Programs in various primary schools, conducting bands and continuing her piano students. Married with 2 young boys Rebecca has lived in the Toowoomba area since she was 16 years old and loves that she lives so close to family and friends. At her Kindermusik classes, parents and children are invited to explore a musical, imaginative and fun learning experience. Kindermusik will give your children the tools they need for a lifelong love of music and learning.
